I build boats and planes, I’m a librarian now, but have been a legislative analyst at the state and federal level. I used to sail the “big rigs” — barquentines, barques and schooners — but now I just play around in little boats for, as Rat says, there is NOTHING, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. And if you can’t tell by reading this, I’m on the American left, and proud of it.
